The Feast of San Roque is celebrated every 16th of August in the Municipality of Tinajo.

During the first fortnight of August, Tinajo dresses up for a party to commemorate the Feast of its Patron Saint. To do so, the Tinajo Town Hall together with the Festival Committee and the Church itself, organize different cultural and religious events in the square that bears the same name as the Saint, the Plaza de San Roque.

The Carmen festival in the municipality of Tinajo is celebrated in the fishing village of La Santa. It is a festival with a great seafaring tradition since the Virgen del Carmen is the patron saint of sailors. Although her festival is celebrated on July 16, on Santa it is generally celebrated a week later.
